  5. TSSnet makes your SCO UNIX system a fully functional DECnet Phase IV end node
  6. while retaining TCP/IP coexistence by providing the DECnet and LAT protocols.
  7. TSSnet provides virtual terminal support across DECnet and LAT, allowing users
  8. in a DEC VAX environment into the UNIX world. Network file transfer is provided
  9. by making full use of DEC's Data Access Protocols. This not only allows remote
  10. file management but enables DECnet and LAT printer services to be accessed by
  11. the SCO UNIX system. Support for LAT-connected printers and terminals is
  12. provided by the TSSnet LAT host services. A bidirectional mail gateway between
  13. UNIX SMTP and VMS Mail-11 is provided. If SCO Open Desktop is being used,
  14. TSSnet provides a bidirectional gateway DECwindows and Open Desktop. A DECnet
  15. Task-to-Task programming interface which conforms to AT&T UNIX System VR3
  16. Streams and TLI is also included.
